10% rate discount on stays 7+ nights automatically applied at checkout

2 night minimum which can be higher on select holidays
5 night minimum during summer & shorter stays may be reserved closer to time of stay

DOGS WELCOME
The Chesa Madrisa is dog friendly! Pups are welcome for an additional non-refundable fee ($100 for 1 dog, $150 for 2 dogs). We have a couple extra crates for dogs if needed when left home alone. Our yard is mostly fenced, but can shift with snow and jumpers can access the driveway, so we recommend keeping an eye on dogs while outside.

CLEANING
$200 Cleaning Fee - 100% goes to our cleaners.
This includes 3 hours of cleaning as well as laundering of all sheets, white bath towels, and duvet covers on beds. Please help us keep our cleaning costs low for everyone by laundering the extra beach towels and any extra blankets used during your stay. We pay our cleaners a livable wage and 100% of the cleaning fees go to our team. There is not a long list of chores required - pretty much just start the dishwasher and lock up - enjoy the last day of your vacation!

MONTHLY STAYS
The Chesa Madrisa can accommodate longer monthly stays with varying discounts depending on the month. April, May, September and October are approximately 50% off the nightly rate & exempt from Transient Occupancy Tax for stays 30+ nights. Please reach out for more information. All longer stays include complimentary cleaning every two weeks.

RESERVATION AGREEMENT
The Chesa Madrisa requires all guests to digitally sign a contract and may require guests to email/text a photo ID within 24 hours of booking, or same day if booking is less than two weeks away for ID verification. If ID is required and not received within 24 hours of reserving dates the reservation may be cancelled and refunded minus 10% for bookkeeping & credit card fees. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE PROTECTION
Chesa Madrisa bookings default to include a $50 non-refundable accidental property damage protection fee which includes $1,500 of accidental damage coverage during your stay from Rental Guardian Damage Protection. Any damages not covered by this policy are the responsibility of the guest. Guests may opt out by noting at time of booking via note in the "Comments/Questions" box and the charge will be manually removed prior to running credit card, however guests may not opt out of the PDP after reservation deposit has been confirmed.

CANCELLATION POLICY
50% Reservation Payment is non-refundable.
Balance due 30 days in advance is non-refundable (60 days for monthly rentals non-refundable).
The official cancellation policy is No Refunds, however if something unforeseen comes up and a guest needs to cancel, then the dates will be made available for booking. If the dates are re-booked then a future credit may be issued. If a refund is made, it will be minus 10% to offset credit card fees which are not refunded from our credit card processor.

CALAVERAS COUNTY TAX
We support our local community by collecting & remitting 12% Calaveras County Transient Occupancy Tax.

SNOW & WEATHER
Part of the fun of visiting the Sierra Nevada Mountains are the snow storms. Refunds are not available for weather. During the winter & spring months chains or 4WD with snow tires are recommended. The Chesa Madrisa is at approximately 5,000 feet elevation. The mountains of California are also prone to wild fire and smoke can travel hundreds of miles - there are no refunds for smoke from wild fire. The Chesa Madrisa has central AC and air purifiers for guest use.
